About CMUH-CTC
The Chinese Medical University Hospital Clinical Trial Center (CMUH-CTC), previously Clinical Research Center, was officially renamed in 2008 to reflect and establish the undertaking of clinical trials as a primary mission and commitment of CMUH.
Under the leadership of the current Director, Professor Chung Y. Hsu (2010-present), CMUH-CTC has been successfully awarded clinical trials and research funding by Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare for consecutive years.
The management philosophy of Professor Hsu：
Professor Hsu’s management of CMUH-CTC is rooted in his beliefs in prioritizing the needs and objectives of sponsors and principal investigators (PIs); providing top quality and optimized clinical trial services and solutions to industries at home and abroad; aiding in the discovery of new drugs and medical devices and facilitating their availability in the market.CMUH-CTC is a trusted collaborative partner to many global pharmaceutical companies and their contract research organizations (CROs). Our collaborators include Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi, and many top 50 global pharma companies, with the list of partners in clinical trial excellence continuing to expand rapidly. As of Jane 2020, the center has contracted with more than 315 companies and undertaken over 1,000 cases of clinical research and trial.
